Sales is not for the overly sensitive or faint of heart. The cold call is not dead, but what is dead is the sound, delivery and century-old routine of a cold call. Sales transforms organizations; indeed what else is there?

Guy Frizell joined Unleaded Software Inc. as Business Development Executive in March, introducing his refreshing style of relationship selling to the web design and development industry: confidence.

“In this post-modern age, sales is impressing upon the right person a command of a service or product after you've secured their confidence,” said Frizell. “Contrary to what most people intuit, it’s the relationship that ultimately cradles the sale. Now, that may seem straightforward and fairly simple, but don’t be fooled because it is a greatly sought-after skill.”

Prior to joining Unleaded, Frizell was Director of Business Development for PlaceWise Media (formerly Mallfinder Network), for 10 years. PlaceWise Media is a full service digital marketing company with an emphasis on the shopping center industry providing website hosting and management, social media marketing and support, branded content, mobile optimized websites and applications, web analytics, website design services and online display advertising via third party digital service providers. There he led the initiative to grow business, succeeding in increasing the client count from five to 600+ customers.

At Unleaded, Frizell focuses on sales in multiple arenas: ecommerce sites for architectural designers, distinctive design accessories, cannabis retailers and more. He is a graduate of San Francisco University with a B.A. in English, where he also earned his masters’ degree in Interdisciplinary Humanities.

Unleaded Software Inc. has been building websites since 1996 and today concentrates on Magento platform sites built by Magento-certified developers and other team members. Unleaded has developed a proprietary hybrid of Magento and ExpressionEngine (a content managed web platform.) The firm has been incorporated since 2004 and prior to that was a sole proprietorship.
