First Authorized Media Tour Scheduled Inside Illinois Cultivation Center
Albion, Illinois (PRWEB) August 05, 2016 -- WHO: Ataraxia owns and operates a 52,000-square-foot cultivation center located in Albion, Illinois manufacturing the Gold Leaf line of medicine which includes flower, edibles (gummy bears and chocolates) oils, topicals and more.
WHAT: Due to recent administrative rule changes, members of the media are now allowed inside Illinois cultivation centers. Photography and videography will be permitted. Cultivators will take media on a tour to learn about the life cycle of cannabis plants and how the various delivery methods of medical cannabis are produced. Tour includes:
- Grow House- see various plant cycles
- Extraction Room- extraction technicians will produce oil and concentrates
- Kitchen- meet with the head chef and learn about how edibles are made
- Interviews with Ataraxia team members

Directions: From the intersection of Highway 130 and Highway 15, go east on Highway 15 about 1.5 miles. You will pass a cemetery on your right as well as a tractor dealer with red and blue tractors out in front. Industrial Street is right after the tractor dealer. Also, look for Pioneer Seed. The facility is behind Pioneer Seed on Industrial Street. If you have problems finding the facility call 618-446-3275.
