Moselle leads firm’s European international arbitration practice

Cornerstone Research, a leading provider of economic and financial consulting and expert testimony, announced today that Boaz Moselle has joined the firm as a senior vice president in London.

Dr. Moselle provides consulting in many commercial and investor-state disputes, including issues relating to the pricing of natural gas and LNG, the assessment of damages involving alleged breaches of contract and/or expropriation, and the application of competition law. He has extensive expertise as an expert witness in international arbitrations, and is a renowned expert on energy-related disputes.

As a former director of the U.K. energy regulator and competition authority (the Office of Gas and Electricity Markets, or Ofgem), Dr. Moselle also acts as an expert and adviser on a range of regulatory and competition matters, with a particular focus on the energy industry and related types of infrastructure. He is named by Who’s Who Legal as a leading expert witness and competition economist.

Dr. Moselle was formerly with FTI Consulting, where he was senior managing director in its economic and financial consulting practice, and an executive vice president in FTI’s competition economics subsidiary, Compass Lexecon.
