Republic Business Credit announced today it has hired William Kemp as VP, Business Development. This appointment builds in the company's strong Midwestern presence as it continues to expand its new business team to provide cash flow solutions throughout the U.S.

Republic Business Credit provides working capital solutions for companies that are experiencing high-growth or recoverable distress. The New Orleans-headquartered company has recently expanded its presence in the Midwest and West Coast regions with key, high-level staff appointments. Based in Chicago, Kemp will drive new relations for Republic Business Credit in the Midwestern region and support businesses that need cash flow funding ranging from $250,000-$10 million.

“William is a proven sales professional who is well established in the Chicagoland marketplace,” said Robert Meyers, Chief Commercial Officer, Republic Business Credit. “He is an exceptional relationship builder and is a professional who takes the time to fully understand a business’ needs and work with stakeholders to find the funding solution that is the best fit. He will be a key team member in building on our reputational strength in the region and we are all excited to have him on board.”

Kemp previously worked for Bibby Financial Services, where he sourced transactions up to $1 million in facility size and supported the credit underwriting. After winning Bibby’s Sales Excellence Award he expanded his new business sourcing and continued to excel. He is currently a Communications Co-Chair for the Chicago Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association and was previously a member of the same chapter’s Nextgen subcommittee.

“William has a strong background in customer satisfaction and being solutions oriented, which complements our values as we pride ourselves on having a people-and-customer-first approach to supporting our clients,” said Stewart Chesters, Chief Executive Officer, Republic Business Credit. “With his determination to ensure we bring value to our budding relationships, I know he will continue to build his reputation for providing solutions in the Midwestern commercial finance community.”
