Americans for Prosperity President Tim Phillips explained:
"We can't wait to spend two incredible days in Orlando with thousands of dedicated activists who are fighting to make our country a better place to live, work, and raise a family. Americans for Prosperity's grassroots leaders are the heart and soul of our organization, and they’re on the front lines of the fight to preserve the American Dream for future generations. This is our tenth annual Summit, and this year will be the best yet. It's all about thanking our incredible activists for their commitment and preparing for what the future holds."
Americans for Prosperity CEO Luke Hilgemann had the following to say:
"Our network of dedicated activists have helped generate a wave of policy victories that hasn’t been seen for a generation. This year’s Summit is about celebrating those victories, and learning how to be even more effective advocates for economic freedom in our own communities. For nine years our Summit has given our activists an opportunity to remember why we fight, who we fight for, and how we win."
The theme of the 2016 Summit is, "It Starts With You,” which highlights the organization's belief that true change can only come to government if it is driven by grassroots action.
