Shotfarm Exceeds Growth Expectations for First Half of 2016
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) August 25, 2016 -- Following a successful 2015 which included several new product launches and its new Partner Enablement Platform, Chicago-based Shotfarm, LLC has exceeded its projections for the first half of 2016. The brand content management and exchange platform attributes recent growth to the platform’s ability to answer a heightened market demand for an affordable, easy-to-use solution for product content distribution and collection.
Brands across all sectors, including Franklin Sports, VTech, Thermos, Channellock, Keen, Honeywell, General Mills, Coco Lopez, Totes Isotoner, Tingley Rubber, Acme United as well as dozens of additional household names from the Prestige Brands family such as Clear Eyes®, Spic and Span®, Comet®, Anacin®, Luden’s®, and PediaCare® have adopted the Shotfarm platform in the first two quarters of 2016.
Compared to the same period in 2015, brand adoption on Shotfarm is up by 410% with the number of individual connections that the Platform serves, up 61% from 868,266 to 1,416,419. Sales have climbed by nearly 300% confirming the need for the Platform’s latest product releases.
Shotfarm cites the explosive growth of online grocery as the reason for the higher concentrations of traction in the Consumer Packaged Goods category. “For decades, the sales channels for CPG brands have been fairly stationary, said Mike Lapchick, CEO of Shotfarm. “Many of today’s legacy providers have been serving this category for over thirty years but are unable to satisfy the onslaught of additional and unique sales channels now available to these Brands.”
The Company’s ability to scale to any number of retail channels is a result of a series of product launches released in 2015, including Shotfarm’s Switch: a Product Information export module that retailers configure with their unique requirements and then publish to Shotfarm’s Switch Marketplace. Once in the Marketplace – a familiar app store-like experience – brands can install their retail partners’ Switches and, from a single set of data, automate the conversion, normalization, and delivery to all channel partners.
“They say timing is everything in business,” said Lapchick. “There’s no doubt in my mind that the market acknowledgement is here and Shotfarm is properly positioned to serve the new need. It’s an exciting time, for sure.”
