Celebrating the leadership of its corporate partners in creating pathways to employment for urban young adults, Year Up Greater Philadelphia recognized JPMorgan Chase with the Urban Empowerment Award and Lincoln Financial Group with the Corporate Champion Award at the Class Five graduation ceremony.
Year Up Greater Philadelphia is a yearlong workforce development program that provides urban young adults with six months of technical and professional training, followed by a six-month internship at top companies like Lincoln Financial and JPMorgan Chase.
“The Urban Empowerment Award recognizes the significant time and resources that JPMorgan Chase has dedicated to ensuring more urban young adults in the Greater Philadelphia area gain the skills and experience to launch an exciting career,” said Joseph Coyle, Executive Director of Year Up Greater Philadelphia.
