Rookie’s 3rd Consecutive Victory Caps Sioux Chief ARCA Race
Kansas City, Missouri (PRWEB) August 11, 2016 -- The crowd at Lucas Raceway went wild at the Sioux Chief PowerPEX 200 presented by Jive, when Chase Briscoe, of Mitchell, Indiana, pulled away from the pack to claim victory. It was Briscoe’s third consecutive win driving his No. 77 Big Tine Ford on the ARCA Racing Series circuit.
The Sioux Chief PowerPEX 200 was part of a huge weekend of auto racing in the Indianapolis area with a lineup that included USAC, ARCA and NASCAR. This year’s race marks the rough plumbing manufacturer’s 2nd year as an ARCA title sponsor.
Briscoe started in seventh place but took a chance with an early two-tire strategy to gain track position, and never gave it up. Briscoe’s teammate, Myatt Snider came in third behind Travis Miller.
"This was our second year as sponsor of The Sioux Chief PowerPEX 200 at Lucas Oil Raceway and it was just as exciting as the first, to see Chase Briscoe win his third race in a row was exciting” said Joe N. Ismert, President of Sioux Chief Manufacturing. “It’s a great way to get Sioux Chief exposure in a sports venue with some of the most loyal fans in sports and in the motor racing capital of the world, no less. We’re looking forward to partnering with Menards and ARCA again in the future.”
