Medcom Appoints Ross Johnston as New Director of Fringe Benefit Administration and ACA Operations

Highly experienced new operational leadership appointment will navigate Medcom’s growth and diversification.

Medcom, a leading provider of Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting, Fringe Benefit Administrative Services for Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs), Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), COBRA and Retiree Billing, Comprehensive Correctional Healthcare, Health and Welfare Compliance Services, announced today that Ross Johnston has joined the firm as Director of Fringe Benefit Administration and ACA Operations. Mr. Johnston will focus on building and improving the strategic development and operational effectiveness of the firm.

Mr. Johnston has a proven track record with over 20 years of experience in information technology, software development and data analytics. Prior to joining Medcom, he had a long and successful career at a large Medical and Fringe Benefit Administrator located in Little Rock, Arkansas. He has previously served in many leadership roles in the Fringe Administration, COBRA Administration and Information Technology areas with his focus on operational consumer-driven health benefits administration.

Mr. Johnston has a B.S. in Mathematics from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Mathematics from New Mexico State University.
