SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (PRWEB) August 16, 2016
Growers Supply, the industry leader in greenhouses, high tunnels and hydroponic systems, will be hosting its next two CEA Hands-On Workshops September 13-15 at the company’s CEA Learning Center West in Dyersville, Iowa and October 12-14 at CEA Learning Center East in South Windsor, Connecticut.
Both CEA Hands-on Workshops will offer participants an education-filled, three-day schedule where Growers Supply experts and industry specialists educate attendees on the latest trends and innovations in controlled environment agriculture (CEA), such as hydroponics, aquaponics and microgreen production.
The workshop’s curriculum begins with the basics of controlled environment agriculture, and then shifts towards how attendees can integrate or improve CEA techniques in their operation. Over the three-day workshop, attendees will receive valuable hands-on demonstrations and professional insight on sizing a greenhouse, nutrient management, integrated pest management techniques, the benefits of specific hydroponic systems, producing microgreens, the symbiotic relationship between plants and fish and much more.
Growers Supply’s CEA Hands-on Workshops cost only $995 for the full three days. This price includes a three-day hotel stay, lunch each day and a comprehensive course workbook.
Upon completion of the workshop, each attendee will receive a $995 product credit that can be used towards the purchase of any controlled environment agriculture product, including GrowSpan greenhouses, HydroCycle hydroponic systems, growing accessories and more.
