We can't have a better life until we imagine that we can.

Tragedy strikes when least expected, and while some sit and watch the world pass by, others decide to find their true, inner selves through the tragedy and heartbreak.

In “My Personal History: My Story,” author Janice Costello entrances readers with the story of how she became her best self. From love to death to rebirth, Costello is able to encourage readers to make the effort to change and embrace the person who is underneath it all.

“Life is a rugged journey, but you have to remember the good times,” Costello said. “When you give your time, effort and knowledge to others, life seems to bless you.”

Costello believes in striving toward a greater goal and enjoying the accomplishments that follow. “My Personal History: My Story” holds the memories and journeys of Costello’s life, including the good and bad times.

“We can’t have a better life until we imagine that we can,” Costello said. “We can’t rely on our feelings, they don’t change a thing. We have to make an effort to change and grow a bit bolder.”
