“When we were considering candidates, we could tell that DynaSis had really evaluated how we were operating so there wouldn’t be surprises along the way,” said America’s 1st Maintenance General Manager Mary Barnes.

DynaSis, Atlanta’s premier provider of IT services and support for small and midsized businesses (SMBs), today announced that it has completed the configuration and deployment of a major technology upgrade for America’s 1st Maintenance. DynaSis has also been contracted to provide ongoing, around-the-clock systems monitoring, proactive maintenance and support for the company’s new technology platform.

“When we were considering candidates, we could tell that DynaSis had really evaluated how we were operating so there wouldn’t be surprises along the way,” said America’s 1st Maintenance General Manager Mary Barnes. “From that point on, they ensured the system preparation and launch were pretty painless for us. I remember thinking through the whole process that it was way easier than I had expected.”

America’s 1st Maintenance initially engaged DynaSis for assistance upgrading outdated server hardware. During the initial strategic technology review and assessment, DynaSis determined that the firm would gain additional benefit, along with enhanced security and productivity, through a comprehensive upgrade of infrastructure and systems, including network hardware, firewall, uninterruptable power supplies (UPS) and more.

As with many large-scale technology projects, budget was a concern, so DynaSis helped America’s 1st Maintenance select the most advantageous and cost-effective configuration, including repurposing outdated hardware and reassigning existing server software licenses where possible. DynaSis also deployed VMware to run two virtual Windows Server installations without the need for additional physical hardware. Finally, DynaSis addressed the organization’s need for an all-inclusive backup and disaster recovery solution. Now, all content on both of the firm’s servers is backed up and can be restored as individual files or through a full restoration in the event of a server outage or other problem.

“Successful, growing companies such as America’s 1st Maintenance understand that they need modern, secure systems to optimize operating effectiveness, but decision makers are hesitant due to concerns about cost and complexity,” said DynaSis President Dave Moorman. “We were pleased to have the opportunity to help America’s 1st Maintenance transform its technology posture with a focus on the future and are gratified by the confidence they placed in us.”
