The Best Software for Small Businesses According to G2 Crowd User Reviews

The list showcases the software that small-business users have rated highly, based on customer satisfaction score.
ZipBooks, DocSend, HelloSign, ActiveCampaign, Digimind Social, and iSpring Suite topped the list receiving customer satisfaction scores of 9.7 or higher. Each was named a High Performer in their individual product categories. SEMrush, Kanbanchi, WordStream, CallRail, BigCommerce and TouchBistro Restaurant complete the list receiving satisfaction scores of 9.24 or greater. Each was named a Leader or High Performer in their individual product categories. The product categories in the list spanned from billing to wireframing, but the e-signature and project management categories were featured most frequently.
“Many software companies focus on larger businesses, rather than small companies,” says Michael Fauscette, chief research officer at G2 Crowd. “Because of this, many products are either unaffordable or full of features that are unused by smaller companies. It’s important for small businesses to know what products are best fit for them given their unique needs and limited resources.”
The list is based on reviews from Aug. 1, 2015, through July 31, 2016. The ranked products each received 20 or more reviews within this time period and were reviewed by users at companies with 50 or fewer employees. Products are ranked in order of highest satisfaction score, with the top 50 products showcased in the list. Customer satisfaction scores are determined based on reviewers’ likeliness to recommend the product to a friend or colleague.
