The Guess Corporation Releases Preliminary Design of National Security Park
Durham, North Carolina (PRWEB) August 16, 2016 -- The Guess Corporation is pleased to release the preliminary design for the National Security Park. The National Security Park is being developed by the company and will include five buildings in a pentagon shape. Each building will consist of five floors. The park buildings will consist of: bioterrorism research center, infectious disease research center, cybersecurity research center, sustainability research center, and energy research center.
"This design along with recent progress in site selection brings us closer to our goal of creating a fine institution focused on promoting the perpetual security and prosperity of the citizens of the United States of America," the company released in a statement. The main park campus will be enclosed by a security perimeter wall. Adjacent to the campus, there will be retail, office, multi-family and hospitality buildings on site which the company will co-develop with specialized partners.
The design was provided by Scott+Cormia Architects. The firm has been chosen at the exclusive architect for The Guess Corporation and is handling the design and overall project management for the National Security Park development. The National Security Park is expected to yield 10,000 jobs upon completion. The Guess Corporation is developing the park and leasing it back to a non-profit organization that it will manage on behalf of the park's members. The company is currently in talks with various parties for membership and intends to expand membership to global firms and organizations whose security interests align with those of the United States. The Guess Corporation intends to break ground on the park in 2016. The park is expected to be completed in late 2017.
