Patricia A. Husic, President and CEO of Centric Bank, was named Business Woman of the Year by Business Women’s Forum (BWF) and Carlisle and West Shore Chamber’s of Commerce.

Patricia A. Husic, President and CEO of Centric Bank, was named Business Woman of the Year by Business Women’s Forum (BWF) and Carlisle and West Shore Chamber’s of Commerce. Every year BWF honors one inspirational woman from the Central Pennsylvania region based on her business excellence, vision, mentoring, and outstanding and long-lasting community impact.

Husic was one of the founders of Centric Financial Corporation and Centric Bank and led the turnaround and growth of the financial institution to over $421 million in assets the end of the second quarter of 2016 and record profits and growth of the Bank in 2015. Centric has been named one of the Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies for four years and is a two-time Best Places to Work. The Business Woman of the Year award was announced at the Business Women’s Forum on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the High Center, Messiah College, and was presented by a representative from CenturyLink, the award sponsor, following a keynote speaker. Business Women’s Forum is an annual conference geared toward women professionals, produced by the Greater Carlisle Area Chamber and the West Shore Chamber. Criteria for the award include being an innovator with a proven track record of success and demonstration of leadership, integrity, and strength of character. Nominees are women who have made a significant impact to those around them and someone who has made a contribution to her community and society as a whole through consistent community involvement, board or committee service.
