SAE 2016 Convergence Features Diverse Range of Special Events for Attendees

Comprising guided technical tours, networking opportunities and professional development seminars, these special events provide participants with opportunities to further their knowledge alongside fellow industry members.
Dates and programming highlights for the Special Events are as follows:
Linear AMS Technical Tour will take place September 21, and feature a firsthand look at expert 3D metal printing technology in action.

SAE Convergence Banquet, a long-established tradition, will be September 19 at 6:30 PM. It is the largest and most prestigious gathering of automotive electronics industry leaders from around the world. The banquet is keynoted by Raj Nair, Executive Vice President, Product Development, and Chief Technical Officer, Ford Motor Company. His presentation, titled “Moving Into a Space of Experience,” examines the continuing convergence of software and hardware and how it is critical to Ford to reimagine its approach to the customer experience.

The professional development seminars require a separate registration and fee.
