Why go through life if you’re not going to challenge yourself? Life’s a rollercoaster. You’re up one minute; you’re down one minute. But who doesn’t like rollercoasters? I mean, you want them challenges.

Haute Time sat down with UFC Champion Conor McGregor just days before he faced off against rival and professional smack talker Nate Diaz in Sin City. Here, Haute Time got the exclusive details on what makes the professional fighter tick, his love of fashion (he’s known for donning his impressive custom suits with a high-end timepiece) and what he’s thinking as he prepares to go up against Nate Diaz for a second highly-anticipated rematch. The event will take place Saturday, August 20th in Las Vegas, NV, airing live on PPV.
For a sneak peak at what the athlete had to say, he went into some depth discussing his rematch with Nate Diaz. The last time the two fought, it was one for the books. The two outspoken fighters threw insults back and forth to each other, leaving nothing off-limits. Although McGregor had the lead in the beginning, he eventually submitted to Diaz. Thus, McGregor is more prepared than ever before to face off against his rival in the ring again.
“Why go through life if you’re not going to challenge yourself? Life’s a rollercoaster. You’re up one minute; you’re down one minute. But who doesn’t like rollercoasters? I mean, you want them challenges. You might win some, you might lose some. But you go in, you challenge yourself, you become a better man, a better individual, a better fighter,” he said.
