Our members care for elderly and medically frail Hoosiers every day. Maintaining and consistently improving quality is their highest priority.
Indianapolis, Indiana (PRWEB) August 19, 2016
More than 350 Indiana nurses, nursing assistants, health facility administrators, clinical staff, and others working in long term care and assisted living centers across the state will be in attendance at the 2016 IHCA/INCAL Convention & Expo, August 22-23, at the Sheraton Hotel at Keystone at the Crossing. Caregivers will participate in two days of education on recent and impending regulatory changes and new technologies in the industry, helping them to better prepare for the challenges of caring for an aging population.
“Our members care for elderly and medically frail Hoosiers every day,” said IHCA/INCAL President Zach Cattell. “Maintaining and consistently improving quality is their highest priority, and we strive to help them in this effort by providing them with the information and tools to become even more knowledgeable, more efficient and better prepared for new requirements by the state and federal government.”
Additionally, recipients of the 2016 IHCA/INCAL Senior Living Awards will be honored during the Convention & Expo. These recipients, chosen from over 130 peer and colleague nominations, exemplify exceptional service in resident care.
