Atlanta Diabetologist Joins American Diabetes Association Leadership Board
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) August 23, 2016 -- Dr. Thomas Flood, an expert in the field of Diabetology, has been announced as Community Leadership Board (CLB) President by the Atlanta Chapter of the American Diabetes Association (ADA). Dr. Flood is a graduate of the University of Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and has specialized in diabetes, endocrinology and metabolism for more than 20 years.
The American Diabetes Association’s mission is to prevent and cure diabetes while improving the lives of those affected by the disease. Today there are nearly 30 million Americans including one million in Atlanta who have diabetes. The overall responsibility of the President is to provide leadership and direction while helping to achieve the mission delivery goals in ADA’s strategic plan and annual organizational objectives.
