Globalsat Group is pleased to announce its series of events presenting Global Xpress in Latin America exceeded all expectations
Davie, Florida (PRWEB) August 24, 2016 -- In a series of events held in several cities from Mexico to Chile, Globalsat Group, the panamerican MSS líder provider, presented Inmarsat’s Ka-band based services to eager audiences. Existing and future customers were able to experience the ease of use of the terminals and the stable bandwidth provided by the new global service, as well as current L-band technologies for lower bandwidth and higher portability.
Hand-on events were held in Ciudad del Carmen, Mazatlán, Bogotá and Santiago, with clients and experts coming in from neighboring countries as well as the United States, Australia, UAE and Brasil. Users in such diverse fields as fishing, aviation, mining, media, government and banking showed up eager to learn both about the new services enabled by the I5 constellation as well as the more traditional L-band services, which can also be used as a backup solution along with Ka-band to provide an increased level of fault tolerance and redundancy.
J. Alberto Palacios, Globalsat Group CEO comments: "nobody else in the mobile satellite service (MSS) sector holds this kind of event, where existing and interested users can get to know our solutions hands-on, operate satellite equipment, experience the quality of service themselves and speak to industry experts in-situ”. “We have been doing this since 2014 and the Globalsat Day format is possible because we have great confidence in the technology we provide and the select business partners we work with”. “Our interest goes beyond just doing good business; we provide high availability services to help our clients optimize their operations and reduce risks effectively" Palacios adds.
Industry recognition:
The group has received the 2016 Latin America Satellite Communications Company of the Year award from the highly recognized international consulting firm Frost & Sullivan, and has also earned a mention by the MSUA (Mobile Satellite Users Association) in the Emergency Response category for its role as a provider of satellite services for the tsunami detection and warning system operated by Chile's government.
