Purple has appointed Simon Adams as Chief Operating Officer, joining the firm’s Board of Directors.

Simon has helped significantly steer the development of Purple

Simon joined Purple in early 2015 as Head of Operations, where he has overseen the company's delivery services and internal IT support.

Simon has over 10 years of experience enabling organisations to adapt to, control and effect change. With experience within Financial Services, Telecoms and Smart Transit sector, he has a breadth of experience that will enable Purple to sustain continued growth over the coming years.

“As we enter into our 4th year of business, it’s only right that as a transformation consultancy, we continue to improve ourselves,” said Alistair Sergeant, Purple's CEO. “Simon has helped significantly steer the development of Purple. Given the importance of delivering transformation projects to our clients, his role as Chief Operating Officer will include responsibility for the firm’s entire Delivery Operations and Technology functions.”

Sergeant continued, “We believe that over the coming years the development of both areas will play a key part in ensuring that Purple maintains its strong position in the market place. Consequently, by continuing to offer clients an independent led consultancy, we will ensure that we remain in a healthy and competitive position.”

"I am humbled and delighted with my appointment,” said Mr Adams. “I look forward to building on the hard work that the business has undertaken over the past 3 years."
