Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) August 25, 2016 -- Lucas Group is proud to announce that August 27 will mark the 40th anniversary of service for the firm’s President and CEO, Andrea “Andi” Jennings. Having launched her career with the executive recruitment firm in 1976, Jennings has consistently delivered skillful, dedicated leadership—on behalf of the company as well as the professional success of its 350+ Associates nationwide.
When Jennings was handpicked to lead the firm in 2009, the U.S. recruiting industry was fighting robust headwinds stemming from the 2008 market collapse. Under her leadership, Lucas Group has emerged from the recession larger and stronger than before. Today, the firm operates across 15 offices and continues to expand service offerings and talent recruitment solutions to meet the changing needs of its clients and professional candidates.
For four decades, Jennings has demonstrated a forward-thinking and growth-minded approach to business. She’s built a dynamic leadership team, been integral in opening new markets, launched expanded lines of service offerings, effectively led acquisition teams and managed key strategic partnerships. Throughout her tenure, Jennings’ unwavering belief in the positive impact potential of the individual has served as a guiding force, and she’s been recognized – within the recruiting industry as well as the general business field – for her commitment to her team and her enthusiasm for the development of those around her.
Jennings was one of the first female recruiters in the Lucas Group Sales and Marketing unit. By age 21, she had achieved President’s Club—a top-performance sales award she would continue to earn throughout her recruiting career. In 1995, she was appointed General Manager of the firm’s Accounting and Finance unit, and grew it from a single-recruiter operation to the company’s largest revenue-generating division.
“I remember walking into Lucas Group on my first day and being immediately drawn to the personal connections and stories that are at the heart of recruiting,” said Jennings. “I’m grateful to be able to say that forty years later, amid all the changes in technology and communication, that this business remains rooted in those individual stories. We continue to serve as a consultative partner to great people and great companies, and we’re proud to play a launching role in the stories they create together.”
In recognition of Jennings’ 40-year career with Lucas Group, the firm will host a special tribute to her leadership and many accomplishments during its annual sales meeting this November.
