President and Co-Founder of Projectmates / Systemates, Inc. Varsha Bhave Awarded 2016 Constructech Maven
Richardson, TX (PRWEB) August 24, 2016 -- Varsha Bhave, Co-Founder and President of Projectmates / Systemates, Inc., was recognized as one of only six Constructech Mavens during Constructech magazine’s recent unveiling of the 2016 Women in Construction and Constructech Mavens. Constructech Mavens are executives, leaders, and champions of new ideas and technology that continue to innovate the construction industry. Bhave founded Systemates in 1995 and then launched Projectmates construction program management software in 2000. She leads the development for Projectmates with an average of two major releases annually.
“The Constructech Mavens recognize there are specific needs in the construction industry today that need to be met,” says Laura Black, editor for Constructech magazine. “Each day, with determination, they work tirelessly to deliver targeted solutions to the construction industry.”
As the Women in Construction and Constructech Mavens gathered in Schaumburg, Illinois for the dinner and awards ceremony, it became apparent that many of them were deeply involved in day-to-day construction prior to their role in technology. Bhave, for example, worked with several cities as a city planner before eventually joining the City of Arlington, Texas as a statistical analyst and long range senior planner. During her tenure, she led efforts for the successful passage of the 1994-95 CIP bond election. Bhave also made great strides in automating the creation of performance reports for the city’s construction projects, on top of managing the city’s vast and highly critical impact fee program.
Bhave's vast knowledge of capital project management coupled with her savvy web application development techniques gave birth to the underlying ideas for using web-based technologies to manage the complex processes of construction management.
Today, Bhave is the driving force in the production, design, and maintenance of Projectmates Construction Program Management Software. With her talented team of developers, she works tirelessly to ensure that Projectmates is in a state of constant enhancement and improvement for its user base. When this user base comprises some of the world’s largest retailers, government institutions, real estate developers, medical systems and more, Bhave spares no effort to stay ahead of industry trends. By steering the development of Projectmates in response to user feedback, as well as foreseeing upcoming demands in construction management software, Bhave ensures that Projectmates has consistently remained an industry leader in owner-focused construction program management software solutions.
