Ventiv Technology announced today that Jonathan Lyons has been promoted to chief technology officer. The announcement was made by Stephen Rhee, chief executive officer of Ventiv Technology.
In his new role as chief technology officer, Jonathan will continue to drive innovation throughout Ventiv Technology’s offerings. Combining his 16 years of experience in the industry with his passion for new technology, Jonathan will lead the software development and architecture teams as they continue to deliver new capabilities to the market.
Lyons joined Ventiv in 2000 and he has since worked as Ventiv’s developmental lead on multiple software products.
“Exciting new technology is emerging constantly, and choosing those that strengthen Ventiv Technology’s position as a market leader is more important now than ever,” said Rhee. “Due to his tenure within the company and his hands-on experience and knowledge of so many of our products and teams, I cannot think of someone better suited for this role.”
Lyons has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to joining Ventiv, Lyons worked for an Atlanta-based startup, building applications to help food companies adhere to complex FDA regulations as well as improve food quality by simplifying statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
