With the Home Tour videos, we want to show how impactful even simple changes can be and inspire people from around the country to tackle their own home furnishings challenges without fear.

IKEA announced today the third leg of its successful “IKEA Home Tour.” Starting this fall, a team of IKEA design experts, the “IKEA Home Tour Squad,” will again hit the road to help Americans tackle real, everyday furnishing and design challenges while inspiring others to do so for themselves. On this leg of the tour, the Squad will visit six markets: Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland (OR), and Seattle. Launched in 2014, the Home Tour has traveled to 15 markets covering more than 19,000 miles to date.
Five IKEA coworkers will serve as the Home Tour Squad – a group of passionate home furnishing and design experts who will leave their regular jobs for a year to hit the road. At each stop, the Squad will help evaluate room needs and challenges, develop a plan, and work together with participants to implement smart solutions using IKEA product offerings. They will document and share the before & after home transformations and additional design tips at HomeTourSeries.com.
“We know that home design can be daunting and that people sometimes don’t know how to get started,” said Orela Suku, IKEA Home Tour project manager. “With the Home Tour videos, we want to show how impactful even simple changes can be and inspire people from around the country to tackle their own home furnishings challenges without fear.”
