Dr. Curtis J. Crawford Recognized as an Influential Black Corporate Director
Santa Clara, CA (PRWEB) August 25, 2016 -- Dr. Curtis J. Crawford, President and CEO of XCEO, Inc., was named one of the “Most Influential Black Corporate Directors” by Savoy Magazine. Dr. Crawford was congratulated for his outstanding work by the magazine and lauded by ON Semiconductor and Xylem, Inc., both public companies which he currently serves.
Selecting those with significant achievements in business, and who are “inspiring leadership” in boardrooms, Savoy Magazine was aiming to “chronicle these inspiring executives, their distinguished careers and the corporations that demonstrate inclusive Board composition”. In stressing the importance of diversity in boardrooms today, prominent directors who have contributed to change, cultural and community developments and noteworthy business achievement were selected. Some of the others featured in the magazine were directors of influential companies such as Prudential, Hanes Brands, Macys, Salesforce, UPS, Bank of America, PepsiCo, and Apple.
Awards for directors, in particular for leadership and governance are few, so it is wonderful to be recognized for exemplary service. Having already received the Kenneth B. West Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), this award, along with other technological, leadership and business success accolades, adds to the recognition that Dr. Crawford has achieved during his more than 30 years of executive and board service.
“We are so pleased that other groups recognize the personal leadership and steadfast commitment to enlightened governance that embodies everything that Dr. Crawford does”, said Michelle Ronco, the Chief Marketing Officer at XCEO. “Each one of our clients understands that Curt’s principles, experience and knowledge are the foundation for the unique and comprehensive programs that we offer to our clients”, she continued. “Our entire team congratulates him and we are proud to work with someone who is changing governance for the better”.
