The connected world is upon us, as more data and smarter, faster platforms are drastically changing the way businesses are run and things are produced. To meet these needs, the Peggy Smedley Institute, is holding a full-day educational event on Friday, September 9 in San Diego, Calif., at the San Diego Marriott Del Mar.

The educational event will include panels and discussions from some of the most innovative minds from all corners of the IoT (Internet of Things) including IT professionals, industry analysts, and CEOs, each offering unique perspectives and experiences on the growing digital transformation.

These leaders will help attendees tackle the role that the Internet of Things is playing in the development of smart cities, energy, transportation, mobility, retail, manufacturing, construction, and engineering. The goal is to provide the audience with an understanding of how smart solutions are revolutionizing the infrastructure to be more efficient and productive.

Anyone in charge of an organization’s business strategy or technology future is encouraged to attend. Top-level executives, presidents, CIOs, VPs, managers, and industrial engineers will walk away with the knowledge and tools needed to transform a company.

Attendees will have the chance to engage the panelists to further expand the conversation and answer questions, as they relate to leveraging the IoT for innovation, manufacturing, maintenance, repair, service, and much more. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network during the provided lunch.

“This event allows the technological leaders and innovators to pull back the curtain on the IoT,” says Peggy Smedley, founder of the Peggy Smedley Institute and host of The Peggy Smedley Show. “By engaging in this discussion, we can show companies how to master the IoT and leverage it in ways that will benefit them for years to come.”
