Vysk is proud to announce its partnership with race car driver and Vysk Board Member Roberto Gonzalez Valdes for the upcoming “6 Hours of Mexico,” endurance auto race to be held at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City from September 2 to 3, 2016. The high- profile race is part of the World Endurance Championship (WEC), which includes races such as the legendary “24 Hours of Le Mans.” Roberto will be racing for Greaves Motorsport’s LMP2 car entry.
Drivers Luis "Chapulin" Diaz and Bruno Junqueira will join Roberto in piloting the Gibson 015S prototype car powered by Nissan and sporting Dunlop Tyres. The car will prominently feature the Vysk logo.
"We are both honored and privileged to support Roberto in this grand endeavor," commented Victor Cocchia, CEO of Vysk. "He is a champion at everything he does, from the boardroom to the racetrack. We wish him much success and thank him for his continued support of Vysk."
The Mexico City event is making its comeback to the WEC calendar and 80,000 fans are expected to attend the race. Media exposure for the WEC Championship is also expected to be widespread; over 4,000 accredited media outlets will cover the nine races in the 2016 schedule. Fox Sports will provide TV coverage in Latin America.
"Given the great interest in Latin America for Vysk’s flagship QS1 privacy case," added Cocchia, "I believe this sponsorship will help grow our name-recognition in this tremendous market."
