DallasKidd will lead the creative output for the San Francisco office

Sean has had an impressive career during which he has designed creative solutions for a very diverse range of clients.

Today, J. Walter Thompson North America and Geometry North America announced the appointment of Sean DallasKidd as Executive Creative Director of J. Walter Thompson / Geometry San Francisco, a joint venture between the two companies.

DallasKidd will lead the creative output for the San Francisco office, which will include overseeing its two cornerstone clients, Adobe and Treasury Wine Estates. He joins from FleishmanHillard, one of the world’s leading integrated strategic communications agencies, where he served as Partner, Content & Creative.

He will report to Matt Eastwood, J. Walter Thompson Company’s Worldwide Chief Creative Officer, and act as the creative partner to Ryan Lincks, J. Walter Thompson / Geometry San Francisco’s General Manager and lead for the office’s Treasury Wine Estates account.

Eastwood said: “In order to fully meet brands’ needs today you have to look beyond the ad industry for the best creative talent. Sean has had an impressive career during which he has designed creative solutions for a very diverse range of clients. I’m looking forward to seeing how he’ll lend his breadth of experiences to the creative growth of our San Francisco office.”

Jim Carlton, Geometry North America’s Chief Creative Officer, added, “Pushing the creative boundaries for our clients is key to realizing our growth goals for the San Francisco office. I am happy to have Sean on the team to help us do just that.”

DallasKidd comes with 19 years of experience in developing creative solutions. Kicking off his career as Owner & Art Director for a Washington, DC–based independent clothing line, he then went on to work for companies like Future US, Maker Media. He also worked for several branches of Discovery Communications, where he acted as creative lead for the Investigation Discovery Network and provided creative support for Velocity Network.
