Georgia Manufacturing Directory Reaches Best Seller Status on First Release
Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) August 29, 2016 -- The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance (GMA) was founded in 2008 to connect, educate and promote manufacturing companies, engineers and designers throughout the state of Georgia. They recently compiled and released the first edition of the Georgia Manufacturing Directory and are thrilled that it has reached the status of “Best Seller” on Amazon.
GMA recognizes that most businesses prefer to support their local economy by purchasing supplies and services from companies in their area. The 2016 Directory provides a comprehensive listing of the 175 GMA members actively involved in creating a network to support the growth and promotion of manufacturing in Georgia. This is the first industry-supported directory created and distributed statewide. It was delivered to the CEO or purchasing agent of the top 1,000 manufacturing companies in Georgia, and all of GMA’s sponsors and members received a complimentary copy.
The 2016 Georgia Manufacturing Directory’s publication was officially launched on August 17th and quickly made it to #1 on Amazon’s “Best Seller” list in three categories: Consumer Guides, Catalogs & Directories, and Manufacturing. This placed the directory alongside other well-known publications such as “The Lean Six Sigma Pocket Tool Book,” “The Toyota Way” and Webster’s Dictionary. The ranking will change over time based on current book sales, but it will always be listed and recognized as a “Best Seller.” This is a major accomplishment for a book of this nature, particularly for its first edition. GMA is already working on the next edition scheduled for January/February 2017 and plans to release a new edition every six months.
