Dr. Patil brings more than 20 years of experience in clinical practice, hospital administration, physician/hospital joint venture development, and quality management. He completed his cardiology fellowship at Beth Israel-Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, and received his Masters in Clinical Research and Biostatistics. His published research and clinical trial interest focuses on machine learning to identify patients at risk for adverse clinical events, and his work with hospital readmission reduction programs has used predictive models, biometric monitoring, and EHR workflow/clinical decision support to significantly lower heart failure readmissions. He brings extensive EHR data model, workflow, and implementation experience to the MDLIVE family.
