The Reading Room Announces Name Change to Bookstr Inc.
The Reading Room is proud to announce their name change to Bookstr Inc. The book discovery website chose the name to reflect their growing and changing brand, with a greater focus on mobile usage. The Bookstr app, focused on crowd-sources book recommendations, will be launching soon.
“Now that Bookstr Inc, purchased all The Reading Room assets, it makes the most sense for us to go through with the name change completely across the brand. We’re excited to create a brand that is more reflective of our most active and engaged audience members,” said Sarah Hill, CEO.
The active audience has grown and changed. A large portion of the website’s users are millennials, a demographic also known for their app usage. The name and aesthetic of Bookstr Inc. will help identify with that demographic.
