TVision Technology to Implement Microsoft Dynamics NAV for Berkmann Wine Cellars
(PRWEB UK) 31 August 2016 -- TVision Technology, a Microsoft Gold partner, has been contracted to implement The Wine System for London-based Berkmann Wine Cellars. The Wine System is the bespoke configuration of Microsoft Dynamics NAV designed by TVision Technology to provide an ERP solution for wine and drinks distributors and is specifically tailored to their requirements.
The Wine System is already supporting leading UK and international Wine Merchants such as Enotria & Coe, Hallgarten Druitt and Liberty Wines. The Wine System will address the operational and financial needs of Berkmann Wine Cellars and offer the scope and scalability that Berkmann requires to meet their plans for future growth. It will replace a finance package and bespoke operations program with one fully integrated system.
The UK’s leading independent wine merchant, Berkmann Wine Cellars was established in 1964 and remains a family owned and run business. The company’s commitment to outstanding customer service prompted the search for a new platform that would both streamline existing processes and enhance the customer experience with additional, up-to-date functions. Following a review that included generic ERP providers as well as industry specialists, TVision was awarded the contract.

Claudio Martell, product manager at TVision, explains, “The enhancements in the last decade are a combination of the Microsoft investment, particularly in the interface and the accessibility with web, tablet and smart phone clients, and TVision’s extension of functionality for the trade.”
The Wine System was successful as it met the needs for a solution that could be delivered on premise or in the Cloud, thus providing flexibility to meet future IT strategy.

With initial analysis and scoping completed and proving the fit of the Wine System to Berkmann’s business processes, the project is now underway and due to go live in April 2017.
