Here are the different stages of aFe Power cold air intakes available at Summit Racing:
Stage 1: Performance Upgrade and Easiest Installation
Direct replacements for the factory air box, an aFe Power Stage 1 cold air intake can outflow factory air intakes by up to 76% depending on application. Many Stage 1 intakes have a unique three-angle billet filter adapter that helps smooth the air transition into the stock intake tract for better performance, plus a heat shield to keep the power robbing hot air out. The result: increased horsepower, torque, throttle response and sound. Your choice of Pro 5R or Pro Dry S filter elements.
Stage 2: Maximum Flow, Maximum Performance
aFe Power Stage 2 intake systems are engineered with a flow-optimized intake tube and the largest filter possible for maximum airflow. We’re talking up to 113% more airflow than a factory system (depending on application, of course). A Stage 2 intake will sound pretty throaty too. The Stage 2 intakes are available with a choice of Pro 5R or Pro Dry S filter elements.
Stage 2 Si: aFe Power Original Sealed Intake System
The Si cold air intakes feature a sealed housing and cover that keeps warm engine air out and allows for a cooler, fresher, denser air intake charge. The sealed airbox is also a great choice when noise is a concern. Each system is unique to the application with exclusive air filter options,an innovative sealed air box design, and a flow optimized intake tube. Momentum HD: Precision Engineered for Diesel Performance
Designed for diesel engines, the Momentum HD cold air intakes have an innovative sealed air box design and flow-optimized intake tube to deliver the large amounts of cold air—up to 80% more than most factory systems. The one-piece sealed housing uses the factory mounting points and has fewer parts for easy installation and has a clear filter inspection window. Momentum HD intakes come with a choice of Pro 10R, Pro Guard 7, or Pro Dry S filter elements.
Momentum GT: High Performance for Gas Cars and Trucks
The Momentum GT air intakes offer most of the same features as the Momentum HD intakes, but are made for gasoline engines. The GT systems have a sealed air box design, flow-optimized intake tube, and high-performance air filter with deep pleats to increase surface area and trap more dirt.
