"Triage Process" Brings Expert Recommendations and Innovative Solutions to Advisers Partnered with Secura Consultants

Secura Consultants, a national disability insurance brokerage firm has launched an innovative process for incoming proposal requests. The new “Triage Process,” implemented in June, allows Secura Consultants to quickly and efficiently separate simpler cases from very complex ones and then assign a consultant with the most appropriate level of experience to each case. As a result of this unique process Advisers get optimized recommendations that are designed to effectively meet the needs and requirements of their clients.

Some cases are straightforward – we know the right solution to recommend and how to coach the adviser when presenting it to their client. Other cases are more complex, requiring more attention, analysis and research. With the 'Triage Process,' we have the ability to evaluate the case from a product, carrier, underwriting, and client goal standpoint in order to provide the best possible solution. It’s also a teaching opportunity internally. Our newer, less experienced consultants take part in the initial analysis and development stages, to teach them how to approach a similar situation in the future,” commented Executive Vice President, Jeff Pantze.
