We are investing additional resources to underscore our continued commitment to providing excellent customer service and expertise to our clients and partners

Business Capital, a leading commercial finance firm, has strengthened its industry presence with the appointment of two new managers, Dominic Randolph and Joe LaBarbera, and the promotion of Reed Upson. All are based in the San Francisco office and will drive new business, relationship building and support credit underwriting efforts for the Company.

“With our stellar reputation, history of successful transactions, and long list of satisfied customers, business and production has seen a tremendous increase,” said Chuck Doyle, Managing Director of Business Capital. “We are investing additional resources to help us manage our growing client base and, most importantly, to underscore our continued commitment to providing excellent customer service and expertise to our customers and partners.”

Reed Upson joined Business Capital less than a year ago as a Business Relationship and Credit Manager and was recently promoted to Vice President, where he will take on more of a leadership role within the company. “Reed has consistently demonstrated Business Capital’s core values of customer focus, adaptability, resourcefulness, project management, marketplace knowledge and the attitude needed to lead our growing team and serve our customer base,” said Chuck Doyle.

Dominic Randolph most recently served as Assistant Vice President with Citizen Bank, where he was responsible for evaluating financial performance, credit detail and industry markets. Prior to this position, he worked four years with GE Capital, where he rose through the ranks handling various credit assignments in a two year rotational program, working as an analyst, and eventually leading marketing efforts for their franchise finance division, specializing in the food and beverage industry.

“We are thrilled to add Dominic to our team at Business Capital,” said Chuck Doyle. “In addition to his strong background in commercial finance, there is no doubt he understands the discipline and dedication of being a team player with his distinguished career on the football field as a record setting quarterback for The College of The Holy Cross, the NFL’s New York Giants, the AFL’s Chicago Rush and then sharing his skills in service to others as a part-time coach and mentor for young athletes.”

Joseph LaBarbera received a BA from Wake Forest University and his MBA in Finance from the University of San Diego, where he competed on the football teams for both. Joe previously worked as a private equity and investment analyst for Pontus Capital, Net Zero Enterprises and LBC Partners. He is currently a candidate for the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) credential. “Joe brings a solid understanding and skill set in finance, as well as great enthusiasm, personality and leadership qualities to our team. I’m certain our clients and partners will enjoy working with him as much as we will,” said Chuck Doyle.

For over 15 years, Business Capital has been a leader in providing innovative financial solutions to recapitalize, restructure and optimize value for rapidly growing as well as distressed small and middle market companies nationwide who require a unique, timely and tailored financing structure to address their particular capital needs.
