Woodbridge VA (PRWEB) September 08, 2016
High school seniors are invited to participate in a scholarship program sponsored by Gold’s Gym, Elite Training Center (ETC) in Woodbridge, Virginia.
Designed to help graduates prepare for a healthy future, the scholarship program begins with a complimentary, 6-month membership to the Gold’s Gym, ETC location. From October 2016 through April 2017, students are then required to visit the ETC at least 3 days each week and participate in a minimum number of group fitness classes of different types (for example, cardio training and strength training).
Professionalism and maturity will be required – as well as a 2,000 word essay describing the benefits of fitness – and how each student will serve as an ambassador of fitness in the community. At the conclusion, one male and one female student will be awarded $2,000 toward their continuing education.
Don’t worry about how you look and feel now; current fitness level doesn’t matter. High school seniors just need a willingness to commit to their health and fitness. At Gold’s Gym, Elite Training Center, we are dedicated to helping our community learn how to take charge of their health and fitness -- for a lifetime.
