Growing Head and Neck Surgical Group of Santa Rosa adds a Sixth Otolaryngologist
Santa Rosa, CA (PRWEB) September 14, 2016 -- Dr. Brian Stater joins Santa Rosa Head & Neck Surgical Group consisting of five top Bay Area Otolaryngologists. The team focuses on the medical and surgical treatment of patients with a variety of disorders of the head and neck.
Dr. Stater is board eligible/certified in Otolaryngology. He was a Phi Beta Kappa member at Whitman College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with honors in biochemistry. Dr. Stater has authored numerous publications and peer-reviewed articles on topics relative to otolaryngology along with presenting at several Annual NYC Pediatric Airway Symposiums. He has professional interests and expertise in nasal and endoscopic sinus surgery, thyroid surgery, surgical treatment of sleep apnea, tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, laryngology and voice disorders, and reconstructive facial plastic surgery.
Dr. Stater received his medical degree at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. He subsequently completed a full residency in Otolaryngology at New York Presbyterian Hospital (Columbia and Weill-Cornell), department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, in New York City. During his final year of residency, he received the W. Shain Schley M.D. “Resident Teaching Award” and trained at the renowned Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Stater enjoys outdoor recreational activities including soccer, snowboarding and running. He is a devoted husband to his wife, Amber, a former reproductive endocrinology nurse who cares for their 10-month-old daughter at home.
