ShipRateCompare.com announces the launch of the ShipRateCompare.com website. Visitors no longer have to go to three different web sites and assemble data themselves to make an informed shipping decision. With all of the information in one place, all visitors have to do is choose. By entering the origin ZIP, destination ZIP, weight, length, width, and height of the package, all of the applicable services from FedEx, UPS, and USPS are sorted by price and speed of delivery into an easy to understand table format. The graph option allows visitors to see that same information in a bar graph, which often clearly identifies high value service(s). "In tough times, money gets smarter and ShipRateCompare.com helps your shipping budget be smarter," said Franc Vodopivec, President.
The website includes three versatile options for presentation of information: Narrow, Wide, and Graph. Narrow is the default and displays nicely on a smartphone or in a small window on a desktop computer. Wide is usually more appropriate for a desktop or tablet user. Graph shows the information as a bar graph. For both Narrow and Wide, moving the cursor over the service shows more information about that service. On a smartphone, tap the service for more information. For the graph option, clicking on a bar shows more information about that service.
While visitors don't need to know industry terms like "fuel surcharge", "dimensional weight", or "oversize", they are described in the FAQ section. All they have to know is that ShipRateCompare.com has factored them into the price. The FAQ section also clarifies other features of the new site, such as selecting the rates for a single carrier rather than all three.
ShipRateCompare.com even includes USPS Flat Rate Box services and FedEx OneRate box services, which visitors are made aware of if applicable for their package. To see the complete list, try package dimensions of 8 x 5 x 1.
Would people want to use ShipRateCompare regularly? Well, as Franc Vodopivec says: "Once you have shipped informed, you can't go back."
Toronto-based ShipRateCompare.com was founded in April 2016. After years of working in the transportation industry, they needed to create a multi-carrier rate engine that allowed quick rate comparisons for FedEX, UPS, and USPS services on a package by package basis. ShipRateCompare.com was the end result.
