I plan to keep the momentum by staying at the forefront of technology and maintaining our excellent safety record and lead Case Foundation Company into its next phase of growth.
Roselle, IL (PRWEB) September 13, 2016
Case Foundation Company, a preeminent North America deep foundation specialist, is pleased to announce Daniel P. Bien as president. Former president, Robert Schock will advise during the transition as president emeritus for a year before retiring.
Bien brings over 20 years of technical and management experience in caisson foundations. Most recently, he served as the vice president of the western caisson division at Case Foundation Company. In that role, Bien was progressive in developing new markets while training the next generation of project managers. As a result, the division grew 150 percent in annual revenue. Prior to this, Bien served as project manager on a range of caisson installation projects.
Bien received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Marquette University in 1996 and his Master’s in Business Administration from Illinois Institute of Technology in 2005. Bien is an active member of Deep Foundations Institute and ADSC.
As President, Bien will be responsible for overall management, operations, and development of projects along with profit and loss for all divisions of Case Foundation Company and its subsidiary, Case Atlantic Company.
“Case Foundation Company has always maintained a family like atmosphere, even as we have expanded over the years. I am excited to serve as president for our company. I have learned from Bob as he led the company through the difficult recession into a record breaking year in terms of financial performance and safety. I plan to keep the momentum by staying at the forefront of technology and maintaining our excellent safety record and lead Case Foundation Company into its next phase of growth.”
Robert Schock has served as President since 2008 and will remain as president emeritus to assist and consult with Bien during the transition process. Schock has over 40 years of experience in the geotechnical construction industry. He is also active in industry organizations including Deep Foundations Institute, ADSC, and American Society of Civil Engineers.
“I was privileged to take over as President in the fall of 2008 when John O’Malley retired. Initially, we had a few challenging years as we made our way through the recession. However, thanks to our geographical and product spread, and a lot of hard work by our people, we remained profitable during those years. When conditions improved Case Foundation and Case Atlantic were well positioned for growth. I’m happy to say that from 2010 to 2015 we almost doubled our sales, leading to one of our most successful years. Best of all, we made great strides on our safety initiative which yielded impressive results over the same time period.
Our success has always come from our people, and I think we have the best team in the business. Dan has been a strong contributor in our Western Division, and I have no doubt that under his leadership Case will continue to grow and thrive.”
Both Daniel Bien and Robert Schock work in the Case Foundation Company’s headquarters located at 1325 West Lake Street in Roselle, Illinois and can be reached by phone at (630) 529-2911.
