The broadcast and digital teams from 24 local TV properties of The E.W. Scripps Company (NYSE: SSP) have implemented the CrowdTangle platform for real-time social media monitoring. CrowdTangle is a leading social media discovery and analytics company.

The Scripps teams will use CrowdTangle to monitor what stories are trending on social media in their own local markets and across the country and to more easily measure the success of their social publishing. With these insights, stations can discover story ideas for audiences on both digital and broadcast platforms.
