Two Men and a Truck provides the simplicity and security of Bluefin’s PCI-validated P2PE mobile payment solution

"Our partnership with Two Men and a Truck is a great example of a nationwide recognized brand taking the proper steps to secure their payments. We are very excited to be working with this growing franchise," said Greg Cornwell, SVP, Bluefin.

Bluefin Payment Systems, the leading provider of PCI-validated Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE) solutions for retail, healthcare, education and now for franchise moving company giant Two Men and a Truck have partnered to provide Bluefin’s PCI-validated P2PE solution to their trucks in the field as well as in office payments.

Two Men and a Truck will provide their franchises a mobile solution using Bluefin’s PCI-validated P2PE and EMV-certified Nomad 2.0 Bluetooth mobile device that pairs with an android or iOS tablet to allow their movers the ability to securely collect payment at the time of service. The ID Tech SREDKey allows franchises to accept secure payments over the phone or in office payments. Bluefin’s P2PE solutions encrypt cardholder data within a PCI-approved P2PE point of entry device, preventing cardholder data from being available as clear-text in an enterprise’s system or network, where it could be exposed in the event of a data breach.

“With over 60 consecutive months of record growth, our goal still remains the same – to exceed customer expectations by customizing our services to the specific needs of our clients,” stated Jake Gaitan, Director of Information Technology, Two Men and a Truck. “Partnering with Bluefin perfectly aligns with this goal, as Bluefin’s P2PE solution secures our payment environment, keeping our customer’s payment information secure, while providing our franchises a convenient way to accept payments with Bluefin’s mobile offering.”

Benefits of a PCI-validated P2PE solution for merchants include reduced PCI compliance scope, saving time and money on annual audits, avoidance of network segmentation, and the assurance that the technology has been vetted and approved by the PCI Security Standards Council (SSC).

“The rash of data breaches over the past three years have demonstrated that an attack can happen to any company, large or small, in any industry,” stated Greg Cornwell, Chief of Security Solutions Sales, Bluefin. “We continue to see the havoc breaches can bring to companies that do not have security technologies in place, and our partnership with Two Men and a Truck is a great example of a nationwide recognized brand taking the proper steps to secure their payments. We are very excited to be working with this growing franchise.”
