American Latino Syndication is proud to announce new seasons of its landmark programs, American Latino and LatiNation, kicking off across the country this week. Now in their second decade of award-winning, English-language syndicated programming, both programs are set to make a splash with new episodes featuring inspirational stories of today’s growing Latino population.
Entering its 15th season with clearances of 88% of US Hispanic Households, American Latino welcomes a new host, former Miss California and rising entertainment journalist, Natasha Martinez. This season’s American Latino half-hour weekly entertainment news and magazine show will set the standard for culturally relevant television aimed at 2nd or 3rd generation U.S. born Latinos in the United States covering everything from show business to sports to fashion to cultural art, food and music.
LatiNation, entering its 13th season and cleared in 86% US Hispanic Households, is hosted by journalist Humberto Guida. Targeting younger viewers, it covers the rise of Latinos in alternative music, the underground art scene and extreme sports. LatiNation takes viewers to unusual places and shares experiences rarely shown in mainstream media.
“We are proud to continue developing American Latino and LatiNation into two of the longest running weekend magazine entertainment franchises on television", Francis Wilkinson, Executive Vice President of LATV Distribution and Syndication explains. “We are happy to bring on new host Natasha Martinez, who represents today’s smart, sophisticated Latina. The new seasons for both programs promise to be energetic, colorful, entertaining and primarily focusing on the enthusiasm most Latinos feel about their community today.”
