Producers, Consumers and Other Invited Project Members Collaborate on Lifester to Share Ideas and Make Decisions About Life Insurance.

Lifester.com is an insurance decision-making platform that offers simple, yet effective ways to learn, share and make educated decisions about life insurance products and strategies.

Consumers will use Lifester free of charge to get customized solutions from licensed professionals of their choosing. Producers feature themselves to be discovered by these consumers, and will use Lifester with existing clients as well, to recommend products and strategies in a team-based environment. Vendors, wholesalers and carriers will in turn form "Lifester Groups" to service and market to producers.

Lifester is different from buy-direct term quote sites according to Lifester Founder and CEO Robert Strauss. "By including the life insurance producer as part of the decision-making platform," he says, "consumers can take advantage of the full array of fixed life insurance products, including whole life and universal life. This makes Lifester a constructive technology rather than a disruptive one."

Lifester makes it easier and more transparent to receive and analyze life insurance proposals. Consumers play an active role: first, selecting producers from an extensive online directory or inviting their own into the Lifester community; then, co-building "Client Projects" that become the foundation for their insurance recommendations; and finally, inviting family, close friends and personal advisors to join the team and provide critical feedback. The result of this online collaborative effort is a highly efficient and dynamic sales process that sources ideas from all interested parties for the purpose of benefiting the consumer.

"Marketing Projects" can also be designed by producers, wholesalers, concept providers and even carriers that form "Lifester Groups" to promote their own unique set of services, products and strategies. These Projects can be distributed by invitation to specific producers or made available to Lifester members who browse community galleries. Unlike emails that pile up, get filtered away, and are often ignored, Lifester Projects are interactive and engaging multimedia web pages.

Groups can promote live Marketing Projects on their Group Profile page or in the Lifester Public Gallery. Groups can also save Marketing Projects as templates to be installed by producer members who can use them over and over as building blocks to create their own professionally designed Client Projects.

Lifester will be free to consumers, as well as the friends, family members and personal advisors they invite. Producers can join for as little as $99 per month. Wholesalers and other industry Groups will pay a monthly subscription fee as well.

Lifester is scheduled to be introduced to the industry at the NAILBA 35 Annual Meeting in Dallas, Texas (Booth # 225) on November 17-18, and available for purchase in the first quarter of 2017.
