Sevatec Awarded NOAA Cyber Security Center Contract Valued Up to $19M
Fairfax, Virginia, (PRWEB) September 27, 2016 -- Sevatec, Inc. (Sevatec), a leading provider of Agile Development, Data Sciences, and Cyber Engineering solutions for the federal government, announced today that the company was recently awarded the recompete of its National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Cyber Security Center (NCSC) Support Services contract. The competitively awarded prime contract includes a one-year base period plus one option year.

Under the terms of the new contract, Sevatec will continue to serve four major functional groups within the NOAA Cyber Security Center (NCSC) – the NOAA Security Operations Center (SOC), the NOAA Computer Incident Response Team (N-CIRT), the System Administration Support (SAS) Team, and Enterprise Security Solutions (ESS) Team. Sevatec’s support will also include Commerce-wide, 24x7 cyber security monitoring and real-time situational awareness for the Enterprise Security Operations Center (ESOC).
Sevatec has performed on the NCSC contract since 2014. Other recent successes within NOAA include a prime contract to implement an Incident Response (IR) solution to enable NOAA, DOC, and the Census Bureau to effectively detect and respond to security incidents.
