Serverlessconf London Tickets Now On Sale
(PRWEB) October 10, 2016 -- Today, Serverless Heroes, Inc. announced the general release of tickets for Serverlessconf London 2016. The conference will be held at etc.venues St Paul in London on October 27 and 28. There will also be a day of workshops held on October 26 at the same venue.
Serverlessconf is the first ever conference dedicated entirely to serverless technologies and architectures. The conference will explore major themes of operations & security in a serverless environment, tools and frameworks, and the development of entirely serverless applications.
Serverlessconf will host more than 40 distinguished speakers from companies such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, IBM, Google, iRobot, and Adobe, as well as a number of innovative startups. Speakers will discuss their experiences building serverless applications, give advice, and share their outlook. Also to be discussed is the development and management of systems around services such as AWS Lambda and API Gateway, Azure Functions, IBM OpenWhisk, Google Cloud Functions, Firebase, Algolia, and others.
A day of workshops will be held to educate delegates on building serverless applications. One such workshop will have attendees build and deploy a simple event-driven serverless architecture using the new Serverless Framework v1.0. Once their service is up and running, they will use serverless-artillery to quickly and inexpensively generate massive amounts of load. Finally, they will use Influx DB and Grafana to analyze the results.
In another workshop, delegates will create a working Facebook Messenger bot that runs on AWS Lambda and API Gateway, and leverage Wit.ai for natural language processing. A boilerplate, step-by-step instructions, reference implementation, and on-site assistance from experienced serverless developers will be provided to ease the task.
The third workshop we will explore the design and implementation of applications using event-driven & serverless technologies to compose and wire together microservice actions in response to events generated by humans and machines using IBM Bluemix OpenWhisk.
