Ziften to demonstrate integration with Splunk showing correlation of network, endpoint, user behavior, and application intelligence.

“Together we will help solve this very challenging problem facing every enterprise.” - Haiyan Song, senior vice president of security markets, Splunk

Ziften today announced it will be a Tera-level sponsor at Splunk .conf2016: the 7th Annual Users’ Conference in Orlando, Florida, September 26-29, 2016. As a Splunk technology partner and an early founding member of the Adaptive Response Initiative, Ziften delivers real-time endpoint, data center, and cloud intelligence into Splunk® Enterprise.

Through its ZDR platform integration with Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Enterprise Security (ES), which delivers extended NetFlow feeds called ZFlow, Ziften provides detailed visibility into endpoint, data center, and cloud environments. Ziften will showcase how this data feeds into the Splunk platform to allow Splunk security, operations and audit users to easily trace network events back to specific devices, applications, and users; and to take immediate response reducing both the time and effort required to detect and respond to unforeseen threats and issues. Ziften will be showcasing the integrated solution in booth T11.

“Customer responses to Ziften’s initial integrations with Splunk have exceeded expectations,” said Charles Leaver, CEO of Ziften. “We are pleased to sponsor .conf 2016 and demonstrate how our continued integration with Splunk Enterprise and Splunk ES brings customers even greater value from their existing investments. The ability to quickly detect malicious threats, and trace preceding activities through user endpoints, data center, as well as cloud environments, helps customers improve their operational response and remediation times with greatly improved accuracy and effectiveness.”

“We created the Adaptive Response Initiative to enable organizations to connect security context, intelligence and technologies to help organizations work together to automate and coordinate to disrupt the kill chain, quickly validate threats and improve their security posture. Members like Ziften are key to the continued success of Adaptive Response,” said Haiyan Song, senior vice president of security markets, Splunk. “Together we will help solve this very challenging problem facing every enterprise.”

.conf2016 will feature more than 175 technical sessions, including more than 80 customer presentations, and is expected to attract IT, security and business professionals who know the value of their data. The conference will be held September 26 – 29, at The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts, Orlando, FL, with three days of optional education classes through Splunk University, September 24 – 26, 2016.

.conf2016 attendees will learn how to gain Operational Intelligence from machine-generated data by improving customer experience and service delivery, enhancing IT performance, shipping better code faster, providing timely business insights or reaching new levels of security in their organization. With more than 50 percent of the Fortune 100 in attendance, it’s the best place to learn how leading companies are using Splunk. Attendees will share best practices, discover new features and ways to implement Splunk software to gain insights from their data. Register for .conf2016.
