Leading property management company invests in customized year-round education program to promote professional advancement and support recruitment

Thousands of associates with FirstService Residential, North America’s leading property management company, are showing off their back-to-school spirit and enrolling in the company’s exclusive FirstClass online learning platform. Nearly one-third of the company’s 14,000 associates, from managers to support staff, are registered in FirstClass, which provides a vast compendium of resources, including online courses, books, videos and webinars, to support an associate’s progression with FirstService Residential.

FirstClass also complements the company’s recruitment initiatives to promote property management careers to candidates outside of the real estate sector through its “I Am FirstService Residential” employment website. The curricula is used extensively by new recruits to quickly onboard with the industry practice standards and job skills they need to prosper in their new positions.

FirstService Residential also invests in external training platforms, such as expert seminars, in in-house learning centers in certain markets, and programs to facilitate the process for associates to obtain licenses and certifications in community management and operations.
