Catanese & Wells Law Corporation Instructs the California Rural Crime Prevention Task Force (CRCPTF) on Equine Law
Thousand Oaks, CA (PRWEB) September 27, 2016 -- T. Randolph Catanese, Esq., and David Yoshida, Esq., of Catanese & Wells Law Corporation, recently taught an equine law seminar to the California Rural Crime Prevention Task Force (CRCPTF) at the CRCPTF's quarterly meeting held on August 2, 2016.
Catanese & Wells was proud to volunteer to speak at the CRCPTF quarterly meeting and enlighten the Task Force on important topics about equine law. The seminar covered a variety of essential equine subject matters, including personal injury, legal and equitable ownership of horses, criminal and civil trespass, civil horse boarding disputes, and animal cruelty statutes and remedies.
"After getting feedback from almost everyone who attended the meeting, they all said Catanese & Wells' presentation was the best," said Detective Chip Cadman of the Ventura County Sheriff's Office, who organized the event. "The participants said the presentation was presented very well and Mr. Catanese and Mr. Yoshida were very well spoken. The presentation was applicable and could be used during investigations into horse theft and additional issues that arise out of those claims between parties."
He continued, "The most informative part covered the civil issues which arise from horse sales and trading with minimal paperwork or paper trail to follow. I think the areas covered related to our job field, and I can't think of any topics that could have been added. It was a successful training that certainly benefited the members of the CRCPTF."
