After extensive interviews and selection process, the PIDX Board of Directors unanimously ratified the hiring of Sheri Roberts as new CEO.

With Sheri at the helm, PIDX will ensure it is the go-to standard for Oil & Gas collaboration and inter-operability in electronic commerce.”
Sheri brings more than 25 years of experience in the oil and gas and petrochemical industries. Starting her career with Shell in 1989, she held several commercial roles with increasing levels of responsibility before moving to the Netherlands to work in Royal Dutch Shell headquarters as a leader in the Leadership and Performance Development team. In her last two roles with Shell, Sheri was CEO for Shell Mauritius Limited located in Africa and ran the Ethylene Glycol and Ethylene Oxide businesses for Shell Chemicals in North and South America. In 2010, she joined Tyco Flow Control as President, Tyco Valves & Controls, LP and Vice President, Global Oil & Gas. More recently, Sheri was Executive Vice-President for Actuant’s Energy Segment.
Sheri studied Honors Chemistry at Purdue University and received her MBA from University of Illinois. She currently serves as Board Director for Genesis Water and Silberline Manufacturing and is an active member of Young President’s Organization and the Executive Women’s Partnership of Greater Houston Partnership.

I look forward to using my experience in the industry to contribute to our mission and serve our member companies. I am honored to play a role in shaping the future of PIDX.”
PIDX International is a not for profit organization made up of member companies from the Oil & Gas industry. It standardizes business processes that deal with data exchange between trading partners in their industry. Their list of standards encompasses not just XML schemas, but Best Practices Documents, Business Process Guidelines, Implementation Guides, Industry Code Lists, the Data Dictionary and the Petroleum Industry Glossary.
